Today’s ornament incorporates a Thanksgiving pie tin, some scrap Construction Paper, a mini flat canvas, a piece of an old Garland and a bit of vegetable garden twine.
I cut the edge of the pie tin with shears (saving the wedge pieces for another day’s ornament. I then bent and shaped the edges to help it reflect better and add more trash to treasure bling.
Wanting to tie into the ribbon I’m using, I backed the little canvas with red paper and painted on the polka dots.
Looking in our recycling bin has been a great resource and has helped me keep this project at my $10 goal.
