Christmas on a borrowed tree and $10

Well, this little project has come to a close.  I am so happy with the way this tree has come together.  It was fun making something from found things and spending time just creating things.

I let the serendipity and the creative muse guide me without stressing over what I would make.  It really felt like Christmas–even in a rented temporary house.

I was able to keep to the $10 budget with a slight overage because I needed more glue.  I was sorely tempted to buy a few more do-dads to sparkle things up but I’m glad I didn’t.

The stockings were a fun edition.  Even our Bassador has his own–with dog bone designs worked in!

  1. I love the painted truck and trailer with tree on top on old barn wood. I love how you took more or less scrap items and made a beautiful tree. Merry Christmas!
